Pep & Punch

Life is like Pep & Punch! We all have ups (PEP) and downs (PUNCH). Additionally, Renee wanted her boutique to represent….LIFE. In March 2019, Renee partnered with her mom to purchase the perfect retail space to open her little boutique. Pep & Punch carries women’s clothing, skincare products, jewelry, and accessories. You can find brands such as ZSupply, Jon Hart, and Consuela.

Renee is a Texas native. She grew up in Spicewood, Texas, and moved to Liberty Hill six years ago. Before Renee opened Pep & Punch, she was a full-time teacher and taught for nine years. However, when she found out she was pregnant, she desired to have a job that would allow her to be more present with her baby. While looking for her next opportunity, Renee saw only two boutiques open in Liberty Hill, Texas. Moreover, she knew that opening a boutique of her own had great potential. Pep & Punch officially opened on October 8, 2019.

In addition to opening Pep & Punch, Renee and her mom have gotten to know the community of Liberty Hill. Renee is amazed how what started as a self-serving business to give her more freedom has become much more than she ever imagined. As well as that, her and her mom have been blessed in serving the community and building trust and relationships. They are both grateful to all their faithful customers because they can both have that freedom to be there for their families.

Without a doubt, Renee’s faith has played a role in her journey as a mompreneur. She has had to learn to leave her worries in God’s hands, trusting He will provide. I found myself relating to that as well. We discussed that it is all a balance. We must leave our worries in His hands but do what He has called us to do. Renee’s mompreneur advice is to remember your WHY. Obviously, owning a small business is a ton of work and is like riding on a roller coaster. Nevertheless, If what you’re doing is no longer serving your WHY, it’s a season to move on.

Renee, thank you for sharing your story with me. I love how the Lord always turns our struggles into a beautiful story! You and your mom’s boutique is lovely, and I pray the Lord continues to bless you both through your mompreneur journeys.
