Liberty Hill Outfitters

Liberty Hill Outfitters is a unique little boutique for not only women and children, but for men too! It is located in the heart of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Danyel Cake is the owner. Danyel is also a realtor, but she had a longing to have her own store. When she saw the available space for rent, Danyel decided to lean into her dream and jumped in with no experience in June 2022.

Danyel specifically chose to name her store Liberty Hill Outfitters because the pride everyone has in their small town and the products she would provide. Danyel wanted to provide men’s apparel, something that was needed in the small town. Another service she provides for men is bow fishing. She partnered with Randy Hodges, who takes you out on the water to shoot invasive fish species with a bow.

Danyel has lots of wisdom when it comes to building a business from the ground up. She has a way with inspiring other mompreneurs. I left her feeling encouraged and excited about my business journey. One of the things that Danyel said, which resonated with me, was, “You can surprise yourself with what you can accomplish in a short amount of time.” Danyel has accomplished more than she even realized she could when she just went for it and opened Liberty Hill Outfitters.

Since opening Liberty Hill Outfitters, Danyel has gotten to know the people in the community and has made many connections. Through it, she has become a member of the Downtown Revitalization Committee. Danyel was like any other mompreneur starting, she struggled with worry and at times, even questioned herself. She has since then realized that fear is normal and it’s a part of the process. Danyel said that opening a store is a big commitment but that people are capable of a lot more than they realize.
